Ombre Blanche is an expanse of diffused or even diaphanous light, but it is above all a luminous field more than a point lighting. This oblong entity, like a levitating flat airship, outlines an island, a spatial zone of qualitative light. Its thinness, enabled by LED technology, offers a subtle luminescence, making it similar to a fleeting Ombre Blanche.

Like a caress, this pendant light invites us to act beneath its glow, whether for everyday domestic activities such as preparing a meal, sitting down, or working studiously, but also for leisure activities such as indoor gardening.
Ombre blanche instills good humor by shifting the classic paradigm of "functional" lighting to the concept of an expanded field, or, according to Descartes, of the body as "res extensa."
