Polka

    Habitat - 2012

    Polka task lamp.

Polka is a turned oak table lamp. Two oblong wooden elements are balanced, connected by a few millimeters of surface. Creating an apparent instability, it hides a possibility of infinite movements and positions.

    Polka wire textile details.

Two ball joints are fixed inside the wood, and allow a 360° rotation and 18° tilt; preserving the function of a good desk lamp. Like the polka, two bodies dance lightly in an aerial ballet.
